What is Battleaxe?
The Battleaxe RPG is an action-adventure, table-top role-playing game.
What's the setting for Battleaxe? Will new regions and races be added?
The Battleaxe RPG is set in the World of Mordredica. The first book contains not only the core rules for creating a character and playing the game but also contains the first bits of information about Mordredica. The setting is far from complete and is growing all the time. From the first version of BRPG to the BRPG Reforged Edition, the core rules book has been updated at least five times. With each update has come new information about Mordredica and those who live there. This setting is an ever-expanding one and continues to grow today. With every passing month more new books and updates will be released that shed new light on the world of Mordredica.
What is the Invoke! Game Engine?
Invoke! is a table-top role-playing engine that uses d20 dice to create span numbers. These span numbers are compared to other span numbers to determine the success or failure of an action. This system is very good at handling just about any situation while retaining quick, high resolution combat actions. Invoke! is presently used in the Battleaxe RPG.
What is the Churn Game Engine?
Churn is a table-top role-playing engine that uses all the dice you've ever bought, because, hell you bought 'em and you might as well use 'em. Churn is great for quick games or long campaigns and is quick and easy to learn. Character creation takes about three minutes and combat is fast and fun with an emphasis on player/GM interaction. Churn is being developed for use in the upcoming Black Sunshine Post Apocalyptic Adventure RPG.
What does Sixteen Coal Black Horses Mean?
There are so many variations of the verse, but we really like this one:
"Sixteen coal-black horses, hitched to a rubber-tired hack, carried seven girls to the graveyard; only six of 'em came back."
